Snow fights with film stars

Who knew that Reizo’s first snow would be in the middle of June? Five Year Engagement is filming in Ann Arbor and there have been sightings of Emily Blunt, Jason Segel and Mindy Kaling around town. They turned a downtown park into a winter wonderland for last night’s shoot. MI offers a very generous tax rebate for filming in our state and A2 constantly has film crews and movie stars lurking in the shadows (Scream 3, George Clooney’s Ides of March and Trust to name a few). So far, I have only seen Hayden Panettiere, but am eagerly awaiting the day the Jolie-Pitts grace us with their adorable clan.

While we have a moby carrier, we use the original baby carrier more often when we go on our walks – Daddy! We get some great looks – him carrying a cute little baby through the streets of Ann Arbor and Mommy pushing an empty stroller (or pushing my bag and bread or other random goodies that we pick up on our walk).

This is the pose the two always assume: Reizo has a firm grip on Raj’s thumb at all times – we think he thinks that he is steering him.

We are constantly telling Reizo that he is so sweet that we could “just eat him up.” He found his reflection and agrees.

Here is a blurry shot of the last of the three bandaids he got after him immunizations. Is it weird that I am having a hard time throwing them away?

Here are some videos of the little man. I am off to shower and get ready for some “me” time. I realized that I have not had any alone time since last Thursday and am really start to feel it. I’ll have the best intentions of making it happen and the day just slips by. In fact, I really need to make sure that it happens much sooner and more frequently. Maybe that will help me avoid getting grumpy or impatient with my boys, both of which happened last night. Preventative care rather than treatment. Sorry guys! On a great note, all of us slept 7 hours last night – awwww, sweet slumber.
